Senolytic Activator®

Combat cellular senescence

Our Senolytic Activator® combines black tea theaflavins, the plant-derived flavonoid apigenin, and ultra-absorbable forms of the bio-flavonoids quercetin and fisetin to help manage senescent cell burden and promote systemic rejuvenation.

Health Concerns:

  • Anti-Aging & Longevity
  • Immune Support

Overview
Cellular senescence is a natural part of the aging process in which cells no longer function optimally. Senescent cells can accumulate over time, affecting the day-to-day function of the healthy cells around them. Senolytic compounds selectively target senescent cells.

Black tea theaflavins, apigenin, quercetin and fisetin all target different biological pathways, helping to manage senescent cells.

Senolytic Activator Benefits

  • Helps the body manage senescent cells
  • Promotes youthful, healthy cellular function
  • Supports systemic rejuvenation
  • Made with black tea theaflavins, apigenin, plus highly absorbable quercetin and fisetin
  • Convenient once-a-week dosing

Ultra-absorbable Quercetin and Fisetin
These two plant flavonoids have many health benefits, but traditional forms are hard to absorb. So we use quercetin and fisetin that are encased in a phytosome sphere, aiding in their absorption and making them much, much more bioavailable. The plant-based flavonoid apigenin is included since it complements the senolytic activity of quercetin and black tea compounds.

Product Details
Cellular senescence is a natural part of the aging process in which cells no longer function optimally. Senescent cells can accumulate over time, affecting the day-to-day function of the healthy cells around them.

Senolytic compounds selectively target senescent cells. New research indicates that black tea theaflavins and quercetin target specific biological pathways, making it easier for the body to manage senescent cells.

Theaflavins reduce senescent cell burden
Theaflavins are compounds derived from Camellia sinensis (tea plant). These compounds have widespread health benefits, supporting healthy cell division and healthy inflammatory response.

New research indicates that theaflavins may be especially helpful for reducing senescent cell burden. In pre-clinical models, theaflavins helped powerfully inhibit the accumulation of particular cell senescence biomarkers.

Quercetin promotes cellular health and more
Quercetin supports endothelial and cardiovascular health, promotes healthy immune function and more. The value of quercetin has been recognized for some time. But its potential to meaningfully impact whole body rejuvenation is just starting to be uncovered through its senolytic activity. The discovery that quercetin is a senolytic compound has drawn significant attention to this innovative approach to combat aging.

Better absorption than standard types of quercetin
Standard quercetin is hard to absorb. But this formulation features our new quercetin phytosome, a phospholipid sphere that encases the quercetin, aiding in its absorption and making it up to 50 times more bioavailable.

Easy-to-absorb fisetin to boost longevity at the cellular level
Fisetin is terrific for whole-body health. It’s a powerful senolytic compound, meaning it actively target senescent cells, the ones that no longer function optimally. Fisetin helps encourage the body’s natural pathways for clearing senescent cells, which allows healthy cells to flourish.

Another important aspect of cellular longevity is sirtuin function. Sirtuin proteins keep your cells performing at their best—but sirtuin activity declines with age. Fisetin has been shown in preclinical studies to encourage youthful, healthy sirtuin function.

But during digestion, much of fisetin is rapidly converted into other compounds by a process called conjugation. That’s why we protected fisetin by combining it with galactomannans, a type of fiber derived from fenugreek seed. Doing so makes it up to 25 times more readily available than standard fisetin. That means it circulates in your system longer and your body has more time to access fisetin’s many health benefits.

Apigenin
Life Extension has identified apigenin, a natural flavonoid, as a powerful addition to our Senolytic Activator® formula. Quercetin and theaflavins from black tea target senescent cells, but not all of them.

The remaining senescent cells create compounds known collectively as Senescence Associated Secretory Phenotype, or SASP. Apigenin helps inhibit remaining senescent cells from making SASP to support cellular and tissue health—a critical aspect of healthy aging.

Convenient, once-weekly formula
For those who aren’t keen on adding another supplement to their regimen, here’s good news: Senolytic research indicates that intermittent dosing in pre-clinical studies is effective at supporting healthspan. So, Senolytic Activator® instructions call for taking just three vegetarian capsules, once a week.

Manage senescent cells, promote healthy cellular function and support overall longevity with Senolytic Activator®.
